About
The practice in Düsseldorf-Unterbach
Alexandra Beisch is a licensed Heilpraktikerin (state-recognised non-medical practitioner) based in Düsseldorf-Unterbach, Germany. She is a Master Practitioner of the Craniosacral Association Germany (Craniosacralverband Deutschland) and a member of the Federation of German Heilpraktiker (BDH). She has been in private practice since 2017 and offers craniosacral therapy and person-centered psychotherapy according to Carl Rogers — in German, English and French.
In my practice, I treat and accompany people with functional, psychosomatic and stress-related complaints — from migraine, sleep disorders and back pain to supportive care for neurological and chronic conditions.
I work with craniosacral therapy, person-centered psychotherapy and, where appropriate, a combination of both approaches. My work is careful and grounded in evidence — and always attentive to the person in front of me.
Body
Craniosacral therapy
Craniosacral therapy has its roots in osteopathy. With fine, precise contacts I work on the head, spine, sacrum and other body structures, sensing how nervous system, tissue and fascia respond — and supporting the body's capacity for self-regulation.
I use craniosacral therapy across a broad range of complaints — from functional disorders and the effects of stress to supportive treatment for neurological and chronic conditions. The aim is to support nervous-system regulation, ease tension patterns in tissue and strengthen the body's adaptive capacity.
How a session is experienced varies from person to person. You remain fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table; the treatment does not involve active joint manipulation. A session lasts 60 or 75 minutes.

Person-centered psychotherapy
Person-centered psychotherapy according to Carl Rogers offers a therapeutic setting in which burdensome feelings, recurring patterns, decision-making and relationship conflicts or psychosomatic connections can be clarified.
The focus is on a reliable therapeutic relationship, careful listening and working together on what is troubling you. Difficult experiences and periods of change can be addressed carefully and respectfully.
If physical complaints, stress regulation, emotional strain and your current life situation are clearly connected, craniosacral therapy and psychotherapy can also be combined in one appointment.
